Congratulations to all our Care Workers that have won our Employee of the Month award for May!
Rhiannon Jones – Bangor branch
At the start of the lockdown Rhiannon moved up to Bangor from her home, 15 miles away, to ensure the safety of her family & customer. Rhiannon has not seen her family since March 23rd. We feel that Rhiannon deserves this award for ensuring that everyone is kept safe.
Talischa Bates – Barry branch
Talischa consistently delivers a high standard of care. She shows empathy towards her Service Users who look forward to her visits. Talischa receives excellent feedback on a regular basis as she understands what each person requires. Her consistency of care means the service users feel confident and comfortable with her as they know she will be the carer they are expecting which means a lot to them. As a care coach, Talischa is also very supportive to new members of the team showing them the correct way to carry out the tasks required.
Natalie Williams – Colwyn Bay branch
Natalie has a very upbeat characteristic about her, she is a positive care worker and always gives customers her full attention at every visit. She is reliable and punctual on her working days and gives a high quality of care to her customers. Natalie works well as part of a team and we receive excellent feedback from her customers, some of them can be quite challenging but this doesn’t faze her and she builds up their confidence in her and they become relaxed and cooperative. Natalie has progressed whilst working for Allied and become an asset to the company.
Awen Jones – Dolgellau branch
Awen has been nominated for putting the customer at the heart of the service and for going the extra mile during these difficult times.
Tamsin Williams – Ebbw Vale
Tamsin is an excellent care worker and her attention to detail is outstanding. Tamsin has proven herself to be a reliable, hardworking and a committed individual particularly in the current pandemic. Despite having the extra pressures of home schooling her children Tamsin has selflessly volunteered to support the branch by picking up extra shifts. Feedback regarding Tamsin’s quality of care is exceptional, she always goes the extra mile in supporting her clients to achieve well-being and independence.
Nia Barlow-Edwards – Prestatyn branch
Nia has recently supported a customer who was in the later stages of dementia during end of life care. Whilst shift changes had to be made to support the gentleman, Nia proactively supported the branch to arrange waking night support over a bank holiday weekend, which included Nia and one of her colleagues covering the shifts between themselves. Nia has shown commitment not only to the clients she supports, but also to supporting the branch.
Michaela Jones – Shrewsbury branch
Michaela has gone above and beyond to help out with coving calls on her days off and stepping in at the last minute. Even when she was having problems with her car she still managed to cover everything.
Jonathan Pritchard – Wrexham branch
Jonathan makes every effort to ensure the new staff are settled in and is an excellent mentor. More drivers are always welcomes and cared for by Jonathan.
Linda McCulloch – East Lothian branch
Linda is employed for children’s’ services, she has helped us out with the care for the elderly during the COVID-19, Linda has gone above and beyond to help us cover calls. Linda attended a client who had passed away and dealt with the situation very professionally.
Kirsty Stephen – Elgin branch
Kirsty is our Field Care Supervisor she has gone above and beyond for our company she has kept the CRT and CCRT up and only works part time. She is great at her job.
Chardane Parkinson – Falkirk branch
Chardane has received excellent feedback from her clients due to the support and care she demonstrates on a daily basis. Chardane will always put her clients first and is very supportive, reliable to the branch and her colleagues.
Louise Montgomery – Greenock branch
Louise is a very caring person she always has a smile on her face and helps out at short notice she gets on very well with fellow care workers and her clients love her.
Lisa Field – Basildon
Lisa recently re-joined Allied, Lisa has worked through Covid and has had lovely feedback from her service users. Lisa is always positive and professional. Your hard work does not go unnoticed by us all.
Sarah Wainwright – Brighton & Hove
Always willing to help out with care calls when needed on her days off. Sarah has worked very well with a client who is a self-neglecter and hoarder, the client is now having a wash every morning and Sarah has built the trust of this client and he is now allowing her to go through some of his old letters, bills etc. to help clear his flat.
Kate Burrell – Colchester branch
Kate has become more confident in her role she is a great team player. She is reliable competent and hard working. Thank you for your help and devotion to your job.
Flora Allison – Liphook branch
Flora joined our team in March, and has gone above and beyond for our customers since she started. Our customers only have positive things to say about Flora and how much they enjoy her visits. Even in the short time of Flora being with us we have had nothing but compliments in regards to her work ethics and her friendly and gentle personality from her fellow carers, customers and their family members. Flora is a kind and compassionate person who has a natural caring nature who is always willing to help and is a valuable member of our team here.
Allaeldeen Saeed – London branch
Hard working and went over and above for our very vulnerable customers during this Coronavirus period without grumbling. He took on extra calls to cover for ill colleagues and even worked with customers who had tested positive for COVID-19. He also care coached new care workers to the best of his ability – got positive feedback from most male carers and has a good working relationship with his customers.
Frances Asare- Addo – Reigate branch
Frances is always a friendly and caring person whose attention to detail and quality of care exceeds expectations. She is always there for our client’s when they need her and is a great communicator to the branch. She also displays role model behaviour and has help build a relationship between Allied and the CCG. Frances always goes above and beyond for the families of the client’s by helping organise shifts, visiting the client in hospital and being a general support for all.
Shannon Wharnsby – Southampton branch
Shannon has been working at Manston Court since July 2015. She is a contentious care worker who always goes above and beyond for her customers and colleagues. Shannon has received some fantastic feedback from our district nursing team while caring for one of our palliative customers, they described her as having a lovely caring nature and said that they can always rely on her to give valuable information. Shannon has spent her quiet time during her night shifts this week painting the carers staff room and making it a lovely place for the team to spend their down time. Field care Manager Sara Richards of Manston Court describes her as a bubbly team player with a personality larger than life.
Joyce Rice – Oxford branch
Joyce at the drop of a hat became a live in care worker for a week due to one of our clients’ husband needed to go into hospital. She always works hard.
Sharon Kenyon – Wirral branch
Sharon has gone above and beyond her role to provide support through her kind gestures to clients who were missing their families and loved ones. Her thoughtfulness brought great comfort to our clients. We are very proud of her actions.
Emma Mulqueen – Coventry branch
Emma always supports the branch and picks up extra calls.
Karen Harwood – Durham branch
Karen has been employed by Allied since March 2018, in November 2019, she was introduced to a new client. Karen has settled extremely well into the package and our client speaks extremely high of her and it is evident that they have built an excellent professional relationship. Karen is instrumental in encouraging our client and promoting his independence. Whilst our client has been shielding, Karen has supported the client by attending to his weekly shopping requirements.
Karen is an excellent communicator and intuitive in identifying slight changes in our client’s behaviour which could escalate. Karen is a valued member of the team.Back to the top
