Congratulations to all our care staff who have won Care Worker of the Month award for January! Every month, our Branch Managers select one care worker who had gone above and beyond in their role.
Well done to all the winners!
Annabella Parra Baptiste – Macclesfield Branch
Annabella has always been so conscientious and reliable; going the extra mile with customers, always reporting any concerns that are raised and picking up extra shifts. Annabella worked all through the Christmas period and was a huge support when some members of staff were isolating.
Rhian Fox – East Lothian Branch
Rhian always goes above and beyond to help her clients and always helps out where needed.
Leona Smart & Ocean Graham – Elgin Branch
Leona and Ocean showed bravery by rescuing a client from her house when it was on fire. Well done to both of you for your courage, you are both amazing!
Toma Garbatenkaite – Fraserburgh Branch
Toma started her journey with Allied in October 2020. She settled quickly into her new role and worked extremely hard during this time becoming a valued part of our Fraserburgh care team. Toma has been nominated by the team for her rapid response in dealing with an emergency situation ensuring the individual she was supporting received the emergency treatment required. She has shown dedication to the individuals she supports and clearly demonstrated her abilities to stay calm and take action when required. Toma is a naturally caring person who can adapt to any situation with ease. The feedback from colleagues and individuals we support has been excellent. Toma is an amazing individual with a professional, positive attitude and is always on hand to help wherever needed and ready to assist the team at any time. She is a fantastic individual, an asset to our branch and the community she lives in.
Lynne Sutherland – Lanarkshire Branch
Lynne continually provides a high level of care to all of her clients and carries out other tasks to support each of her clients if requested. Lynne is consistent in her approach and has an excellent attendance record.
Danielle Hughes – Bangor Branch
Danielle is a House Leader and has been going above & beyond ensuring staff and clients are kept safe.
Vikki Purcigo – Barry Branch
Vikki consistently receives good feedback from her clients. She will go over and above to ensure all their needs are met and more. Vikki has supported the branch staff by helping out in the office when emergencies occurred. She is conscientious and extremely caring and will always put her clients first.
Chelsea Jones – Colwyn Bay Branch
Chelsea has worked for Allied for several years now and has proved herself a very considerate, trustworthy and reliable member of the team. Throughout this pandemic Chelsea has been the backbone in ensuring all her clients receive the care they need, working very closely with branch staff and her fellow care workers. Chelsea helps out with the out-of-hours phone and also distributes paperwork to her clients homes, this has been invaluable and a huge help in maintaining branch compliance.
Karina Tinton – Ebbw Vale Branch
Since Karina started with Allied Healthcare she has proven herself to be a naturally caring person and has built meaningful relationships with all her clients. Karina has literally taken to her role like a duck to water and her confidence has flourished. Karina has been a very dedicated and reliable member of staff and during, this particularly difficult time, has picked up extra shifts to ensure all her regular clients receive continuity of care. Karina has made excellent impressions with all our clients we care for, ensuring their care is person-centered and they are cared for with dignity and respect.
We have received numerous compliments about Karina from her clients, their families and her work colleagues. All have said how they look forward to Karina visiting them.
Deborah Thompson – Wirral Branch
Deborah is one of our new Care Assistants. She has arrived to two difficult situations recently and dealt with them both with compassion and empathy, comforting the families. She has shown her caring nature and is an asset to Allied Healthcare.
Louise Reynolds – Coventry Branch
Louise was nominated for going above and beyond over the festive period and always providing excellent care to her clients.
Mark Eggleston – Durham Branch
Mark joined the Allied Team in March 2019 and since that time has demonstrated a true passion for care that is evident to everyone he works with. Mark is kind, caring, compassionate and has a real drive to provide the best support he possibly can to our clients. During a recent COVID outbreak in one of our client’s home, Mark worked tirelessly to ensure our client was supported whilst his colleagues and client were recovering. His client wanted it recognised that “Mark went above and beyond what was expected of him”. This is real testament to Mark’s character and his commitment to those we support. Mark is highly regarded by those he works with and supports.
Joanne Sabatini – Peterborough Branch
Joanne was nominated for her continuous hard work and dedication in covering short notice shifts.
Maria Nedderman – Havering Branch
Maria always goes the extra mile for her clients. She has gone out this month at short notice to support a client whose stair lift broke, and supported another client whilst having electrical work completed.
Edward Liddiard – Basildon Branch
Edward has received outstanding feedback from three care homes he has worked in, during exceptionally difficult times for the homes, when they have been faced with high levels of COVID.
Anitia Honan – Colchester Branch
Anitia joined Allied Healthcare recently and has shown she has an immense work ethic, this has included increasing her availability in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. Anitia has grown in self-confidence since her start date. Anitia has also received a number of compliments from our customers.
Carrie Davies – Reigate Branch
Carrie has gone above and beyond to offer support and advice to the office on various occasions. She works closely within her current package to allow the family extra respite.
Marie Perry – Oxford Branch
Marie is a dedicated enthusiastic newcomer to the team. She goes above and beyond for our clients and always supports the branch in times of staff shortages. Well done Marie, from lorry driver to a home care hero!Back to the top
