Congratulations to all our care staff who have won Care Worker of the Month award for February! Every month, our Branch Managers select one care worker who had gone above and beyond in their role.

Abigail Wetherby Boon – Macclesfield Branch
Abbie has always been so conscientious and reliable while going the extra mile with clients. Many clients have called with compliments about the care Abbie provides. Great work Abigail!
Laura Taylor – Dundee Branch
Laura was recently faced with a difficult situation and faced it with confidence and supported members of the team with professionalism.
Leyre Nunez – East Lothian Branch
Leyre joined Allied last year despite never having done care work before and has really taken to the role. Leyre’s clients have very complex needs and she supports them in a very calming manner. Leyre is always willing to help out, going above and beyond.
Georgia Maisie – Elgin Branch
Georgia is a great Care Assistant as she always goes above and beyond. She comes in early to fill up the PPE station and is always positive in her work. She is considerate and passionate about her job and a great asset to Allied.
Linzi Wilson – Falkirk Branch
Linzi continually supports all staff, clients and management in all aspects of her role. Linzi has gone above and beyond in her spare time to ensure that everyone is safe and supported at all times.
Dawn Morrison – Greenock Branch
Dawn has been a fantastic Care Assistant, she is always happy to visit clients in any area despite not being able to drive. Dawn will pick up where she can and is reliable and diligent. She is a friendly and personable Care Worker who is well liked by both her peers and client and is an asset to the Greenock Branch.
Massiel Hamilton – Isle of Bute Branch
Massiel recently started as a Care Assistant and is doing an amazing job, she helps out at the drop of a hat and clients get on well with her. She has encountered a few challenges along the way but has managed extremely well!
Sean Short – Lanarkshire Branch
Sean has stepped into his role as a Care Assistant very well. He supports all of his clients to a very high standard and is consistent in his approach.
Alicia Pugh Krefft – Bangor Branch
Alicia stepped up during a Covid outbreak in a project while the House Leader was isolating and ensured the clients and other staff were kept safe. Amazing work Alicia!
Ellie-Mae McGrath – Barry Branch
Elli-Mae has received specific feedback from some of her clients. One said that she puts a smile on his face when she visits, he gets on really with her and enjoys her company. Recent a client fell ill and Ellie-Mae dealt with the situation in a professional and timely manner. The Field Care Supervisor said that she was very professional when speaking with the Doctor and the District Nurse. The branch recently took on a package of care for a client that is very ill and has not been downstairs for approximately six months. Ellie-Mae has managed to get him to come down in the morning. The client’s wife was so delighted she shed tear.
Rosie Higgins – Colwyn Bay Branch
Rosie has only been with Allied for a short time but in this time she has proved herself adaptable, very caring and reliable. When Rosie started with Allied she had no care experience and was quite nervous however she has proved she is a very competent carer. Rosie has formed an excellent working relationship with her clients and has built up their trust. Rosie has also received excellent feedback from her care coach and fellow work colleagues. Rosie has pulled in extra shifts and worked outside her normal location in order for clients to receive the care they need. As a walker Rosie has walked to her calls in all kinds of weather and has never once complained. You are an asset to Allied Healthcare and the Colwyn Bay Branch!
Kelly Auty – Ebbw Vale Branch
Kelly has built fantastic relationships with all her regular clients and has received lots of compliments about the standard of care she delivers. Kelly’s clients have all said how lovely and kind she is and how she will always go that extra mile to ensure they are comfortable and have everything they need. Kelly is a reliable Care Assistant as she is always able to ensure the clients receive continuity of care. Kelly has also been a great support in the on boarding of staff and has taken the role seriously in the coaching of new staff. All feedback has been very positive in how welcoming and friendly Kelly was and how they enjoyed learning with her. Well done Kelly, keep up the good work!
Byron Leeming – Prestatyn Branch
Byron has a great understanding of the clients he supports and is extremely supportive of his work colleagues and new recruits. Due to the length of time he has worked in the support setting his knowledge for new recruits is invaluable to which he will share in great detail.
Carol Mansell – Shrewsbury Branch
Carol was nominated for her continuous commitment to ensuring that all clients receive their care going above and beyond to cover calls where needed.
Elaine Boyle – Wirral Branch
Elaine is always extra helpful and picks up calls outside of her availability where she can. Elaine is a trustworthy and reliable member of the team.
Demi Wilkinson – Sunderland Branch
Demi has gone above and beyond during lockdown to ensure all her clients receive their care. She has great relationships with her clients, always shows empathy, listens and reports any and all concerns to the branch.
Bella Learoyd – Durham Branch
Bella has worked for the Durham branch since May 2019 having previously worked in the Middlesbrough branch. Throughout Bella’s time with Allied she has demonstrated her passion for care. Bella is 100% reliable and extremely supportive of her client. Bella’s colleagues speak very highly of her and she is a real team player. Branch staff have nothing but good things to say about Bella. Her kind and caring nature is there for everyone to see.
Marianna Gargiulo – Peterborough Branch
Marianna was nominated for her ongoing dedication to providing care to her clients. Marianna delivers exceptional care to all her clients and ensures all their needs are met.
Michelle Edwards – Brighton & Hove Branch
Michelle recently stepped outside of her comfort zone to try a new opportunity in live-in care resulting in developing and learning new skills.
Naomi Land – Havering Branch
Naomi has worked very hard since commencing employment with Allied Healthcare. She has taken on work in all areas and has made a positive impact on the clients that she works with. Naomi is a team player who works well with peers.
Robert Monroe – Sutton Branch
Robert has gone over and beyond to make sure a client’s care was to a very high standard. Leasing with the Field Care Supervisors to ensure all the care needs are met.
Vicky Stewart – Basildon Branch
Vicky was nominated for consistently delivering outstanding care and for meticulous attention given to changes in a client’s medications.
Sara Vieira – Bournemouth Branch
Sara has demonstrated a deep caring attitude to all clients and has made good progress with some clients that are very demanding. Sara is always cheerful and displays a positive outlook to everything she does. Sara has been very flexible with rota changes and is always happy to help where ever she is needed.
Stuart Bailey – Colchester Branch
Stuart has been incredible throughout the entire pandemic. Supporting with cover at a moment’s notice, without complaint. Stuart is an outstanding Support Worker, who works with a Learning Disability client with clinical needs and has been doing so for many years. Stuart is forever putting the client first, no matter the circumstances, always going above and beyond. For the majority of the pandemic Stuart has switched from shift work, to around the clock Live-in support
Frances Asare-Addo – Reigate Branch
