Highly trained staff
All our children’s support workers have a Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly Criminal Records Bureau) check. They are fully trained for child specific services. In addition to our standard induction, they complete a two-day child-specific induction. They also undertake training in pediatric first aid, basic life support and children’s safeguarding.
When our workers complete their induction, we require them to register for the QCF Diploma Level 2. We also actively encourage staff to register for the QCF Diploma Level 3 qualification. Our children’s services team works closely with care workers to train on specialist healthcare tasks.
