Congratulations to all our Care Workers that have won our Employee of the Month award for April!

Saskia Booker – Barry branch

Saskia has made a vast improvement in her delivery of care. She has picked up additional calls to support our vulnerable customers at this crucial time. Where customers are feeling the strain of not seeing family and friends and are isolated, she has spent time chatting to them and reassuring them as well as washing their hair and doing nails. This has shown the true caring side of Saskia.

Janet Hoystead – Colwyn Bay branch

Janet has worked for the company for many years, in this time she has proved herself to be reliable, punctual for her shifts and we have had excellent feedback from her customers. During this difficult time with COVID 19 she has picked up extra shifts to ensure that her customers still get the care that they need. Janet has been going above and beyond not only protecting herself wearing full PPE but sterilising and sanitising her customers’ homes. Janet still does shopping calls for her customers that otherwise would have no way to get their essentials, many a time having to queue and put herself at risk in doing so. Therefore Janet should be recognised as a valued member of my Colwyn Bay team.

Without the support of Donna, our client would have been admitted to hospital. Not only did Donna pick up additional shifts in the package but she picked up prescriptions for the client and offered to purchase food supplies whilst the family were unwell. A true example of a care worker going the extra mile, thank you Donna.
