Congratulations to all our Care Workers who have won our Employee of the Month award for July!

Kenneth Williams – Bangor Branch

Kenneth was nominated for being flexible due to staff shortage and ensuring the safety of our customers.

Carol Elmer – Colwyn Bay Branch

Carol has worked for Allied Healthcare for a number of years and has proved herself both reliable and trustworthy. Her customers are always assured they will receive the highest quality of care and compassion when Carol attends their calls. She has also stepped up as senior in the last few months and helps the branch with the out of hours queries and distribution of paperwork. This has proved invaluable in ensuring the proficient running of the branch.

Mirain Parry-Williams – Dolgellau Branch

Mirain is always putting the customer at the heart of the service and going the extra mile to ensure their independence is encouraged by promoting active support.

Jack Homer – Ebbw Vale Branch

Jack joined Allied Healthcare approximately 6 months ago. During this time, Jack has proven himself to be a genuinely caring person whilst building meaningful relationships with all his clients. Jack has been a very dedicated and reliable member of staff which has ensured his clients receive continuity of care and has delivered quality care. Jack has recently been a huge support to the branch also in picking up extra shifts to allow new members of staff to shadow a male run and showing them what ‘great care’ looks like.

Chelsea Smith – Prestatyn Branch

Chelsea has shown a real dedication to providing an excellent service to the customers in the property where she supports. During a period where there was no senior support worker appointed and an ongoing pandemic, Chelsea stepped up and led the team by example ensuring arrangements were being made to support the customers to prepare for a upcoming house move. Although Chelsea has recently been successful in her application for the senior post, it was felt that she went above and beyond and took on additional duties to ensure that everything ran smoothly for the customers and the support staff.

Katy Evans – Wrexham Branch

Katy has provided an overwhelming level of support towards the office and is always willing to help.

Laura Dick – East Lothian Branch

We have had fantastic feedback from all of Laura’s clients saying that she goes above and beyond to help them, and that she stays over her time if required to help them.

Jeanette Johnston – Fraserburgh Branch

Jeanette started her employment with Allied Healthcare in April 2019. She has worked extremely hard during this time and has become a valued part of our Peterhead care team. She is reliable, professional and always has a smile on her face and is well liked by all. Jeanette has been nominated by the office staff for her commitment to the role, her dedication to her customers and because she is a naturally caring person who loves her job. Jeanette is flexible, adaptable and always goes above and beyond to support the service.

Elizabeth Kane – Greenock Branch

Elizabeth always puts her clients first and goes over and above. Liz is very well liked by clients and staff. Liz has continually completed log books and mars charts correctly with no issues. Liz always helps out with extra when possible.

Theresa McLuckie – Lanarkshire Branch

Theresa always provides a high level of care to all clients and will support clients and staff in her area when she is asked to. Theresa brings consistency to the branch.

Jackie Mills – Colchester Branch

Jackie put all her training into action during an emergency situation and followed the instructions given by the emergency service. Jackie dealt with this as a true professional and the client’s family and paramedics could not praise her enough.

Joan Akeredolu – Reigate Branch

Joan joined Allied Healthcare with a care package in which she had been on for a few years. Since moving to Allied she has been an amazing support to the family of the client as well as the branch team to ensure the care given is the highest quality possible as well as be a role model the other care team on the package. Joan has also been a massive help in training up team and covering shifts when needed. With her organisational skills, her reliability and her friendly, caring attitude, she is a true team player.

Daphne Reid – Sutton Branch

Daphne went over and beyond to help the branch when struggling to cover late cancellation.

Sharon Gargan – Oxford Branch

Sharon is a carer who is committed to making a difference. She works very closely with each client to build a working relationship to achieve good outcomes for the client. Sharon is extremely passionate about her job and always delivers a high standard of care. She is very experienced in working with dementia clients and finds a way to involve them in each task to promote their independence and manage their condition.

Abigail Weatherby-Boon – Macclesfield Branch

Abby has been with Allied Healthcare since February and in that time has received many compliments from customers. They’ve said that she goes the extra mile and always makes their day better.

Sandra Jordan – Coventry Branch

Sandra has received an excellent compliment from a social worker and the family of a customer. Since Sandra has provided care to the client they have formed a positive relationship.

Karen Harwood – Durham Branch

Karen has been employed by Allied Healthcare since March 2018 and displays the qualities of an outstanding carer. Karen provides excellent care and support to our clients and is a breath of fresh air when visiting the office. Her passion for her career is evident to all who meet her. Karen recently joined a team of carers to support one of our clinical clients. The client’s family were keen to share that Karen interacted fantastically with the client and enhanced the quality of the client’s life. They added that Karen regularly brought a smile to our client’s face and they could not wish for anymore from her.

Sharon Caley-Smith – Leeds Branch

Sharon has gone above and beyond covering extra calls.

  1. This is a great way to acknowledge the performance of the employee.As like your company others organisation should also have a system to apprise their staff’s performance in the past and give them something as a gift.
