Learning Skills Council

We have recently won a contract from the Learning and Skills Council to deliver an NVQ and a Numeracy and Literacy Programme in England. The programme is fully funded and designed to ensure that all of our Care Workers/ Support Workers can achieve a level of competence in the Sector and be qualified to a National Standard. This agreement has also enabled the company to work with training providers to provide NVQ’s and Apprentiships for its staff.

For example:
NVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care
NVQ Level 2 Business Administration
NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care

So, what qualifications are available to me?
You can gain a National Vocational Qualification which is free of charge to you, (and is a requirement when working in the care sector). A numeracy and literacy programme is also available to you free of charge. Both qualifications will not only be beneficial to you for this job but for your future careers as well.

Getting your qualification:

  • Contact your local branch manager who will take you through the application process.
  • Allied’s training department at head office will then be contacted to start the ball rolling on your NVQ qualification.
  • You will be assigned your own assessor that will walk you through your NVQ step by step. They are there to help you, if you have any questions or queries along the way.
  • So contact your branch manager now to gain your free NVQ qualification, what are you waiting for!
